BSc. Economics

This programme aims to instil into individuals a logical approach to an analysis of social and individual decision making. It is centered around a core of economics theory and the tools it requires, with opportunities for specialisation in particular applications in the optional units. This degree is most valuable for those aiming at employment as a professional economist in industry, finance or civil service, but is also valued by employers where demonstrated ability for logical and quantitative reasoning is desired; for instance accountancy, banking and general managerial posts.
