The Anambra govt has arrested one Chidebele Ozua, a faux profits agent, who used govt receipts to defraud merchants at Nnewi desktop materials Market.
The state Commissioner for Commerce, industry, exchange and Wealth advent, Mr Christian Madubuko, disclosed this in Awka on Friday.
Madubuko referred to Ozua’s criminal activity which begun since 2017 had brought about a tremendous income loss to the State govt.

Madubuko, who disclosed that some participants of personnel of the ministry were linked to salary theft, certain that the state executive would now not go away any stone unturned in fishing them out for prosecution.
He said the receipts retrieved from the suspect indicated quite a few amounts ranging from N12, 000, N36,000, N48,000 to N50,000 per annum, reckoning on the skill of the merchants.
